Anthroposophical art therapy started around the 1920’s and has been developed and implemented worldwide ever since. It is a holistic approach, where various techniques and art mediums are used to (re)gain balance within one’s life.
This workshop will allow you to try two art techniques, which will be explored through theory and practise. You will leave with an understanding of anthroposophical art therapy and its workings within the body, mind and soul.
This workshop is the 1st of 2 introduction workshops on the day. Therapeutic Sculpture will be held from 11:30 – 12:30, with seperate ticketing. All workshops are 1 hour, giving you time to explore the medium through guided techniques and be informed about the theory behind them. After each workshop you will leave with one or more art works that you will have created.
This event is for anyone interested in anthroposophical art therapy, art interventions and the use of art as a medium for communication.
CPD attendance certificate can be made available.
Please note, none of the art interventions taught are to be used as therapy. You will not become an art therapist through this workshop. This is a protected title within the UK.
